Start With the Business Problem, Not the Software
A Software Development Services should begin with a business problem that can be explained in plain language. Saying, “We need a mobile application,” does not tell an engineering team what the application must accomplish. A better starting point is something such as, “Our field employees spend several hours entering information manually, and invoices are delayed because the data reaches accounting too late.”
That difference matters because the first statement describes a product. The second describes a business need.

A business may also find that it does not need an entirely new platform. An existing system may only require modernization, integration, automation, or a better interface.
